Sierra de Gata

Landscape and peasantry of Sierra de Gata are undoubtedly two of their unquestionable excuses to venture into these lands, to pedal and submerge in the depths of their valleys or ascend to the summits of their remarkable peaks. Here the practice of mountain biking is a privilege, both for the initiated and for the most experienced. Sierra de Gata has a landscape and natural diversity hardly comparable to other geographical areas of Extremadura. A variety as wide as exuberant of flora and fauna, abundant water resources and dispersed throughout the region, mild atmospheric conditions favoured by the abundance of rainfall that, in turn, results in the maintenance of a rich and extensive plant mass.
